Body positive influencer Karina Irby has spoken out after being criticized for the revealing outfit she wore to Taylor Swift’s concert in Sydney.
The controversial plus-size model, 33, was harshly criticized after wearing a black bodysuit with a revealing G-string and chunky black heeled boots to the show.
One follower turned away Karina’s gaze and said: ‘You have no class and no respect and it’s sickening. Wear this s**t on your OnlyFans, not to a concert full of kids.”
Karina has now revealed why she decided to wear the bodysuit, admitting she was shocked by the reaction as she ‘didn’t reveal much skin’.
‘People didn’t know the backstory. “When I was looking for the bodysuit, I was so nervous to even wear it because I have a pretty curvy figure,” she shared news.com.au.
‘When I tried it, I told everyone at work, ‘People are going to yell at me for wearing this.’ But I thought it would be fine if I wore it with two pairs of stockings.”

Karina posted the video to Instagram after attending Swift’s concert in Sydney in February.
A follower hit out at the popular influencer at the time, writing, “If you think your outfit looks like Taylor’s, you are delusional.”

Karina is best known for her posts about body positivity and the empire she’s built around selling saucy bikinis.
In 2011, Karina founded her swimwear label Moana Bikini, which has become a household name for women across Australia.
In 2023, she was humiliated when she was assessed for a skin condition during a pedicure.

The bikini designer has been open about her lifelong battle with eczema, which leaves her skin marred by scars and ‘white spots’.
In an emotional Instagram video, she said she now felt “good” about her body and wanted a pedicure – something she has previously avoided because of her skin.
Unfortunately, instead of boosting her confidence, Karina’s courage was judged by her podiatrist.
“I have lumps, bumps, scars, as I understand it, I look different. But this lady looked at me like I was a pure disease,” the blonde beauty said in an emotional video.
