Chobani pulls popular oat yoghurts from shelves
Yogurt retailer Chobani has pulled the company’s oat yogurts from supermarket shelves, much to the surprise of shoppers.
Customers noticed the range had disappeared from stores, prompting speculation about what had happened.
Chobani confirmed that the product had been scrapped.
“Like all of our Chobani products, our oat yogurt was delicious and nutritious, but unfortunately not one of our most popular,” the spokesperson said. 7 News.

“We continually challenge ourselves to innovate and create products that our fans love. That’s why we’ve decided to eliminate oat yogurt from our lineup, paving the way for exciting new Chobani products.”
Dozens of users took to social media to share their disappointment over the decision to remove the product.
‘This is so sad. It’s the only vegan yogurt I like,” said one customer.
“I’m so disappointed,” wrote another.
“I bought them regularly, and now there’s nothing that really compares to them.”
Daily Mail Australia contacted Chobani for further comment.
The yogurt offered buyers a dairy- and lactose-free alternative to Chobani’s yogurt range.

The snack came in several flavors, including mango, strawberry and vanilla.
The oat yogurt has also been removed from the company’s website.
The company was founded in the US in 2005 by CEO Hamdi Ulukaya, before opening in Australia in 2011.
