Sabrina Carpenter teases A-list guest star in upcoming Taste music video ahead of Short N’ Sweet album release
Sabrina Carpenter announced on social media this week that a guest star will appear in the upcoming music video for her song Taste.
“Taste me!” the petite, blonde beauty captioned an Instagram post Tuesday featuring a photo of herself standing next to a star with jet-black hair, their backs to the camera.
On Wednesday, the 25-year-old hitmaker, who performed at Outside Lands this month, shared a short clip of the visualizer, which will be released in its entirety on Friday.
In her latest upload, the celebrity guest was revealed to be 21-year-old Jenna Ortega, star of the upcoming Beetlejuice sequel.
Friday, August 23, is also the date on which her full studio album Short n’ Sweet will be released.

In a clip from the music video, Sabrina grabs a knife before angrily entering a mansion.
She walks up a double flight of stairs with the weapon and enters a bathroom where Ortega and a man share a romantic shower.
Carpenter waves the kitchen utensil around, much to the horror of the Wednesday star, whose eyes widen in fear.
The camera then zooms in on the singer touching up her makeup, looking at her face in the reflection of the spotless blade.
“Oh, I leave quite an impression,” the song begins, before the song title appears in capital yellow letters on a black screen.
“I write every song,” Sabrina said Paper magazine recently.
She clarified, “That doesn’t mean I’m going to release it, but I’m going to write it.”
“I think the series of unfortunate events I’ve had in relationships are no secret to people who know me or think they know me,” the pop star added.

Taste is the third single from her upcoming project, following the hits Espresso and Please Please Please.
Earlier this month, she cemented her name as Hollywood’s “it girl” after launching a smoothie at Erewhon.
According to a post on Erewhon’s Instagram, Carpenter’s blend has “a tropical fruit base with organic coconut and honey, collagen and pearl powder, and a hint of spirulina for a rich, blue color.”
Just like her highly anticipated latest album, the drink is called Short n’ Sweet.
