Sabrina Carpenter bundles up in puffer jacket and jeans in NYC after Netflix Christmas special success

Both on and off stage, Sabrina Carpenter is known for her ultra-sexy outfits, often featuring lingerie and sky-high heels.

But on Thursday, the 25-year-old singer made the rare move to opt for comfort as she stepped out in chilly New York City.

Flanked by security guards, Sabrina – who is now single – strolled down the sidewalk in a loose blue puffer jacket and bootcut jeans.

She wore black boots and hid her blue eyes behind Versace sunglasses.

Sabrina’s blonde hair was tucked into the collar of her jacket, while her signature bangs were on full display.

She stopped at vintage clothing store What Goes Around Comes Around before having lunch at bistro Frenchette.

Earlier in the day, Sabrina shared on Instagram a slew of sultry portraits she took during her appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, airing tonight on CBS.

For her sit-down interview with host Colbert, the Espresso hitmaker wowed in a micro miniskirt that showed off her legs.

She paired it with a black peplum blazer with an exaggerated, bold leopard print collar and matching cuffs.

The fashionista added sheer black tights and accentuated the stylish outfit with black pumps.

Several photos showed Sabrina wandering around the film studio before grabbing dinner with friends to celebrate the achievement.

Another shot showed the star taking a selfie in a mirror with a digital camera.

Sabrina’s outing on Thursday comes amid the success of her Netflix holiday special A Nonsense Christmas.

The special – which streamed exclusively on Netflix last Friday – featured a slew of special guest artists such as Chappell Roan and Shania Twain.

Sabrina serenaded viewers with songs from her festive 2023 EP Fruitcake and covers of well-known Christmas classics.

In between acts, the Don’t Smile singer joined other stars for silly skits, including Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, Sweethearts actor Nico Hiraga and model Cara Delevingne, among others.

Carpenter put a quirky and festive spin on the show by portraying a girl navigating the ups and downs of dating none other than Santa Claus.

True to her own aesthetic, the blonde bombshell rocked a plethora of sultry holiday-themed outfits, each capturing the spirit of the season with her festive charm.

Some fans dubbed Sabrina the new ‘Queen of Christmas’ – a title famously held by Mariah Carey.

The praise comes amid Sabrina’s shock split from Saltburn star Barry Keoghan.

Earlier this month, it was reported that she and the 32-year-old Irish actor had recently split after a year of dating.

A source said PEOPLE that the couple decided to “take a break” to focus on their respective careers and families.
