Rachel Stevens explained her recent absence from Instagram as she took to the platform with a big announcement on Friday.
The S Club star, 45, revealed that she had been busy talking about her upcoming autobiography, and shared how excited she was to finally share a glimpse of the cover with her followers.
Rachel first announced the release of her memoir last year, just weeks afterward former band member Hannah Spearritt wrote her own book titled Facing the Music.
In addition to posting Rachel Stevens’ cover of Finding My Voice, A Story of Strength Self-Belief and S Club, she also shared a sweet throwback snap with a message to her fans.
The mum-of-two wrote: ‘Hello everyone, I know it’s been very quiet in here for a while… It’s been packed to say the least!’

‘I thought I would share this little retrospective with you as I have been working hard on a very exciting and personal project over the past year.’
“I’ve literally been in mom mode or writing mode and it’s been a lot but it’s almost here!! Eek. I can’t wait to share my story with all of you and send lots of love.”
It comes after her bandmate Hannah, 42, decided not to join S Club on their tour and admitted she doesn’t know if she will ever sing with the band again.
She had to call in lawyers following her sudden departure from the group’s reunion tour following the tragic death of ex-bandmate and friend Paul Cattermole.
And in an effort to boost her finances after a year of instability – including a brief spell of homelessness – Hannah has in a bold move pushed back the publication date of her book to coincide with the start of the S Club reunion tour.
When Rachel first announced the news last year, she wrote: “Hello everyone. I’m SO excited to finally announce that I’ve been working behind the scenes on a brand new, very personal project… I’ve written my very first book!
‘FINDING MY VOICE: A Story of Strength, Self-Belief and S Club 7 will be released on April 25 next year.
‘There is so much that I have not dared to share before. I can’t wait to let you in and share my story with all of you. You can now pre-order via the link in my bio.’

It comes after her bandmate Hannah, 42, decided not to join S Club on their tour and admitted she doesn’t know if she will ever sing with the band again.
It comes after the singer announced in July 2022 that she was splitting from her husband Alex after almost 13 years of marriage.
In November 2023, Rachel went Instagram official with her Dancing on ice friend Brendyn Hatfield as she paid tribute to her S club 7 band members and fans.
The singer took to the social media platform to share backstage moments from the group’s ongoing Good Times Tour.
The post with Brendyn also had Rachel’s two children, Amelie, 12, and Minnie, nine, along with her friends.
Rachel, who came second in season six of Strictly Come Dancing, also posed with her manager Benji Rom.
Rachel and Brendyn first met on Dancing On Ice in 2022 as he was Rachel’s partner.
Unfortunately, they were among the first couples eliminated and left the competition in Week 4, but they didn’t let this sour their relationship.

“Although we are no longer partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenting our beautiful girls and continue to love and respect each other.
“I am so incredibly grateful for the life we have built together and I will now continue to focus on the future, united as a family.”
Rachel and Alex, who were childhood sweethearts, married at Claridge’s in London in 2009.
The pair walked down the aisle to S Club 7’s hit Never Had A Dream Come True and her bandmates – Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole and Tina Barrett – were there to watch them say: ‘I do’. ‘.
