Rylan’s post came shortly after Phillip, 61, quit ITV and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after confessing to an affair with a young male colleague This Morning.

He told Waitrose & Partners Weekend that viewers can ‘see’ through all the facades, without naming names.

Rylan said, “People can see who are the real ones and can very well see who aren’t; before insisting that he has always been nice to people throughout his TV career, something he claimed is now “paying off” for him.

“I’ve been in this industry for almost 11 years and all I’ve ever been is nice and polite to people,” he explained.
