Rylan Clark has given a health update on his mother Linda following her emergency surgery following a horrific fall.
In September his mother, 71, was rushed to hospital and required emergency surgery after a horrific fall while on holiday in Spain – her first getaway in a decade.
And on Monday, Rylan, 35, shared the update during his This Morning return, which was praised by fans on social media.
His co-host Josie Gibson, 38, said: “It’s great to have you back but I have to ask: how is your mum?” making Rylan smile as he replied, “She’s good – really good.” Thank you everyone for their kind messages.
“She’s watching today. She’s hobbling around in her little leg brace, she’s at the post office – she’s doing well!

“It sounded glamorous to get a private plane home, but when she got flown in it was a bit… But I did make videos and take the mickey out of her!”
On X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers praised Rylan’s return to co-hosting This Morning.

Last week, Rylan revealed that his mother was doing well visiting his home for the first time in two months.
The TV presenter shared on Instagram a lovely photo of Linda smiling as she visited Rylan to celebrate his birthday with him, writing: ‘For the first time in two months she has managed to recover. Best birthday present.’

Last month, Rylan shared a video of Linda using a wheelchair lift as she returned to hospital after the nightmare fall.
She seemed cheerful, although her arm was in a sling as she held her bag, while Rylan captioned the short Instagram clip ‘Early Morning Hospital Bants’ and added Westlife’s You Raise Me Up.
