Ryanair passengers cheer as ‘disruptive’ tourist who can barely stand is led away after forcing lunchtime Liverpool-Ibiza flight to divert – with cops even joining in with a cry of ‘Olé!’

This is the moment passengers cheered on a ‘disruptive’ tourist as he was taken off a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Ibiza after the plane was forced to make an early stop in Bordeaux, France.

Video showed French police helping the man to his feet and trying to escort him down the aisle after the diversion on Tuesday afternoon.

At one point the tourist falls back onto one of the rows before clumsily making his way to the exit.

When the man finally reaches the front of the plane, a National Police officer joins the commotion and shouts, “Olé!”

Ryanair confirmed that the Boeing 737 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport was forced to divert to Bordeaux after ‘a passenger caused disruption during the flight’.

A spokesperson said: ‘The crew called in advance for police assistance and the aircraft was met by local police on arrival, who removed the passenger.’

The plane took off from Liverpool at 12.40pm on Tuesday, October 3, bound for Ibiza, but had to land early after a passenger became ‘disruptive’.

Just over an hour into the flight, the plane was diverted to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport and landed at 3:29 PM local time.

Police met the plane on the tarmac, Ryanair confirmed, and escorted the ‘disruptive’ passenger from the flight.

The footage shows the man, wearing a black top and black shorts, being awkwardly helped down the aisle towards the exit by police.

The man looks around and seems confused.

Other passengers film the man as he is escorted through the plane.

Officers asked if he had any luggage with him before helping him get out.

A passenger is heard saying “oh my God” as the passenger struggles down the stairs.

Another says: ‘He can’t walk on it.’

As the man is carried off the plane to a female officer, a passenger adds: “She’s laughing her ass off!”

Ultimately, the man is led away under the supervision of two officers, while two others follow.

According to the Liverpool echoAfter a short delay, the flight continued to Ibiza.

The ‘case’ was handed over to the local police.

The video went viral on social media and sparked many reactions.

In January, a lovesick Liverpool holidaymaker was turned away from a flight from Manchester to Ibiza after staff told him he was too drunk to board.

Kyle Windsor had been drinking in a departure lounge after arriving at Manchester Airport four hours early to ‘reach the duty free zones’.

But Jet2 staff were tipped off to the 27-year-old’s condition by other holidaymakers and refused to let him on the flight when he arrived at the boarding gate.

Windsor pushed over passenger service assistant Roy Franklin and sent him crashing into a metal fence before shouting at colleague Sarah McLean: ‘You f*****g fat slag’ as she tried to calm him down.

Families waiting on board watched in horror as Windsor shouted at them ‘who the hell are you’ before he was arrested by Greater Manchester Police and taken to Cheadle Heath custody.

He was found to have a packet of cocaine in his pocket – which his lawyer told the court in mitigation that Windsor “thought was ketamine”.
