Ryan Reynolds was spotted on Wednesday filming a scene in the ocean for his new movie Imaginary Friends in Coney Island.
The 45-year-old actor was seen splashing into the water from various angles and again as he walked out of the ocean dripping. For his part, he wore a long black suit coat, a button-up shirt, trousers and black leather shoes.
The Free Guy actor seemed upbeat and smiled from ear to ear as he walked towards the camera through the wet sand.

The plot of the new film follows a man who can see and interact with imaginary friends. The character meets several forgotten friends who have gone bad over time and starts working to help them by saving them from themselves.
The project is something of a tour de force for the creative John Krasinski, who is co-writing, directing, starring and producing the film with Reynolds.
Other cast members in the feature include Steve Carell and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight recently, Carell told the media that he was looking forward to reuniting with his former costar from The Office.
‘I only expect joy and pleasure. I mean, he’s the best, and he’s a great director,” he said.
According to Variety, Imaginary Friends will be released on November 17, 2023.

Last week, The Proposal star revealed that doctors discovered a polyp during a ‘potentially life-saving’ colonoscopy after undergoing the procedure for a new YouTube video.
Ryan decided to share his experience with the vital check to raise awareness for colon cancer.
“It’s a simple step that can literally, and I mean literally, save your life,” the father of three told viewers of the medical screening where doctors examine the rectum and lower bowel for abnormalities and disease.
Certain polyps can develop into cancer, which means doctors usually recommend removing them.

“This was potentially life-saving for you – I’m not kidding, I’m not being overly dramatic,” Ryan’s doctor told him, adding: “This is exactly why you’re doing this. You had no symptoms.’
After removing the polyp, Ryan’s doctor noted, “You’re disrupting the natural course of a disease of a process that could have developed into cancer and caused all kinds of problems.”
The video was created in collaboration with the organizations Lead from Behind and the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
