Ryan Reynolds has rekindled rumors of a possible Taylor Swift cameo in his upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine, just weeks before the film hits theaters.
On Tuesday, the 47-year-old actor sent social media into a frenzy when he posted a photo from the set of the superhero film inspired by Swift’s 2020 album Evermore on Instagram.
Dressed in Deadpool’s iconic red super suit with his two samurai swords on his back, Reynolds recreated the iconic album cover.
Like Swift, Reynolds stood facing away from the camera in a field with bare trees in the distance.
The Canadian star, who has 51.5 million followers, also set his Instagram post to the tune of the title track from the Grammy-nominated album.
The cover of Evermore was made famous by photographer Beth Garrabrant, who captured it at a sprawling New York estate “owned by a friend” of Swift’s.

Fans are speculating that the estate, where the cover for Evermore’s sister album Folklore (2020) was also filmed, is owned by Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively, 36.
Swift and Lively have been best friends since 2015, three years after Lively married Reynolds.
She is considered one of the most important members of the multiple Grammy Award winner’s ‘girl squad’.
Reynolds and Lively are parents to four children: daughters James, nine, Inez, seven, and Betty, four, and another baby born in February 2023.
Swift mentioned the names James, Inez and Betty in her Folklore song Betty. The song was the first to mention the youngest daughter’s name.
In a 2021 SiriusXM In an interview, Reynolds revealed that his daughters had no idea they were featured in the song’s lyrics until the song was released.
“We surprised them with it. They didn’t know,” he said, before joking, “We don’t tell them anything; we find they’re most compliant when you don’t give them access to outside information.”
When it comes to the name of their fourth child — which has not yet been revealed — Reynolds joked on the TODAY show in May that it is in Swift’s hands.

Shortly after, a promotional poster for the film was uploaded to IMAX’s official Instagram account, showing Deadpool and Wolverine wearing friendship bracelets inspired by the Eras Tour.
The bracelets, often made of colorful beads and featuring iconic Swift lyrics or song titles, became a tradition after Swift’s tour kicked off in March 2023. Fans began making and handing them out at the concerts.
The speculation of a cameo isn’t as far-fetched as it seems, as Swift actually has some acting experience.
She had a cameo in David O. Russell’s 2022 blockbuster Amsterdam, starring Margot Robbie and Christian Bale.
