Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds has finally confirmed the gender of the fourth child he shares with wife Blake Lively.
The reveal comes 16 months after they welcomed their youngest child in 2023.
The 47-year-old actor shared the news during an emotional interview with John Bell, whose late son Jake Bell was a huge Deadpool fan.
Before the conversation, which Ryan posted on his social media, he had also shared the name of his youngest child during the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City, leading to speculation among fans about the child’s gender.
The actor previously kept information about his three eldest children — James, nine; Inez, seven; and Betty, four — secret.

Ryan revealed he was the father of a young boy in a conversation with Walking4Hope founder John Bell
After revealing that his youngest child was named Olin, an unusual Scandinavian name traditionally given to boys, Ryan told Walking4Hope founder John Bell that he was the father of a young boy.
After discussing Jake’s death, Reynolds said he understands it even better now that he has a son.
“I just want you guys to know that I have a son too, and if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, then I’ve done a damn good job,” Ryan said.
During the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere on July 22, Ryan paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife and children.
“I want to start by thanking my wife Blake, who is here. I want to thank my children James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here,” per Variety.
“I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic — that is, the content of this film — that happens to you in your miraculous lives,” he said.
Blake looked stunning in a dark red jumpsuit at Monday night’s premiere, playing off Ryan’s Deadpool character.
She paired the low-cut swimsuit with her blonde locks which she tied into a ponytail.
Blake posed to great acclaim with her good friend Gigi Hadid, who embodied Wolverine in a yellow outfit – consisting of a crop top and skirt by Miu Miu.
Blake and Ryan looked at each other lovingly as they held each other close during the premiere.

The stars never officially announced the birth of their fourth child. Instead, they shared a photo of themselves on February 12, 2023, in tight jeans and a crop top without a baby bump.
Blake also revealed in the caption that she had had her baby: “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023. Been busy,” she wrote.
Blake announced her fourth pregnancy in September 2022 on the red carpet at the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit in New York City.
The Gossip Girl star also shared a slideshow of snapshots of herself during her pregnancy in 2022, which also featured her best friend Taylor Swift.

The following year, in October 2011, they started dating.
