Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are upstaged in the latest Deadpool & Wolverine trailer by a mysterious pair of legs as fans try to figure out who is filling those red shoes

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman break up and fight the bad guys in the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer released Saturday, but some eagle-eyed fans spotted something extra in the preview of the highly anticipated summer blockbuster.

Reynolds, 47, posted the trailer with the #BestFriendsDay referenced buff Jackman, 55, on social media.

‘I hope everyone gets to work with their best friend at least once in their life. I know I can’t wait to finally do it,” he joked about his enemy ship with the Australian hunk.

The clip opens with the two heroes walking through the streets of a decimated city to a reworked version of Wiz Khalifa’s 2011 hit Black and Yellow, with the words changing to “Yellow Red.”

“I’ve always wanted to ride with you, Logan,” Reynolds says,” Wade Wilson tells his companion.

‘Deadpool and a Wolverine. Can you imagine the fun? The chaos?’ he asks.

A few seconds later, a mysterious pair of feminine-looking legs in Deadpool red come into view, then quickly disappear.

‘Lady Deadpool spotted!!’ said one excited fan.

‘I hope you’re right!! But I think that could be Elektra,” another replied.

Others pondered who could fill those shoes.

‘Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool?’ suggested a follower,

“I spy lady Blake Pool,” said another.

One fan suspected it could be someone close to Reynolds, but not his wife.

However, Taylor (Swift) as Lady Deadpool would be the huge curveball that Ryan likes to throw, one follower suggested.

In the MCU, Lady Deadpool, also known as Wanda Wilson, is the female counterpart of Deadpool from the alternate reality Earth-3010.

In addition to acting in her own music videos, the Grammy winner has taken on small roles in the films Amsterdam and Cats.

The hitmaker is also rumored to appear as a mutant pop star called Dazzler.

Some fans thought the mysterious character could be played by Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively. (Pictured in New York in February)

Others thought Lively’s best friend Taylor Swift might make a cameo appearance. “Taylor (Swift) as lady Deadpool would be the huge curve ball that Ryan likes to throw though,” one follower suggested (pictured in Edinburgh on June 7)

Fans can definitely find out if the mysterious character will be unmasked when Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26

Director Shawn Levy narrated it Entertainment tonight when asked about any word about Swift in the film, the rumor was “barely confirmed or denied in this interview.”

“I’m literally going to walk out of frame and save myself or Ryan will get hit [out] on me,” Levy said.

Reynolds has already revealed his Welcome to Wrexham co-star, with Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenny making a cameo in the action adventure.

Fans can find out the truth when Deadpool and Wolverine hit theaters on July 26.
