Tatum O'Neal shared a touching tribute to her father Ryan O'Neal on the day of his death on Friday.
The 60-year-old actress said she felt “great sadness” after it was announced earlier today that her father had died at the age of 82.
In a statement shared with Peopleshe said her previously estranged father “meant the world to her” and she's grateful they “ended on such good terms.”
“I feel a lot of sadness over the death of my father,” she began. 'He meant everything to me.
“I loved him very much and know he loved me too,” she continued. 'I will miss him forever and I feel very fortunate that we ended on such good terms.'
