Ryan Gosling’s $20 Casio Watch Is Even Cheaper Right Now at Amazon (Yes, Really)

What do Ryan Gosling, Kristen Stewart, John Mayer, Barack Obama and Tyler, the Creator have in common? They’re all worth over $30 million, and they’ve all been on the cover GQ – and they have it all spotted they wore a $20 Casio watch on their wrist.

In a world of ultra-premium time tellers, the humble Casio timepiece has maintained its status as a stylish, practical and unapologetically affordable horological companion for celebrities and common folk alike, most notably the rubber Casio F91W and the stainless steel Casio A158WA. , which turns out to be the most popular models of the lot.

In fact, “popular” is an understatement. According to Amazon’s stats, 9,000 people bought the Casio A158W (aka Gosling’s favorite) from the mega retailer last month, while an even more impressive 10,000 people bought the Casio F91W in the same period. In other words, these two Casio watches are hot – and they’re both on sale right now.

The sports-friendly Casio F91W does down to just $13.16 (was $18.95)while the sexier Casio A158W is available for just $19.99 (was $22.95). Both watches have been slightly cheaper in the past, but also more expensive, so now is a good time to purchase one of Casio’s best-selling models.

Despite their extremely modest price, both Casio watches offer excellent value for money. Ny Breaking’s Wearables editor Matt Evans spoke about the Casio F91W’s enduring appeal in April, and it’s the watch he continued to wear four months later, calling it “the best $15 (he) had ever spent .”
