Ryan Giggs has been snubbed again by the Premier League as they announced their latest Hall of Fame shortlist.
The Manchester United legend – who holds the record for the most assists in Premier League history and has won the title 13 times – has once again been left out of contention despite being cleared of domestic violence charges last year.
Giggs, 50, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm over an alleged headbutt on ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, plus further charges of coercive or controlling behavior against her and common assault against her sister Emma.
But during a 10-minute hearing last July, the prosecutor offered no evidence and no guilty verdicts were returned regarding his charges.
While Giggs has been left out of the Premier League again, six of his former Manchester United teammates have made the 15-man shortlist.

Giggs is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s greatest players of all time. He won the title thirteen times and topped the all-time assist charts after a legendary spell at Old Trafford.

These include colleague 1999 Triple winners Gary Neville and Andy Cole, as well Michael OwenMichael Carrick, Edwin van der Sar and Nemanja Vidic.
Former Liverpool forward Owen and John Terry are in contention to enter the Hall of Fame for the fourth time, while there are three newcomers.
Cesc Fabregas, Eden Hazard and David Silva all appear on the shortlist for the first time, having become eligible after retiring from playing.
There are a host of forwards present, with Jermain Defoe and Les Ferdinand Robbie Fowler in the running.
The shortlist is completed by Arsenal Invincible Sol Campbell and former Man City star Yaya Toure.
It was previously announced on Monday that former Arsenal and Chelsea title winner Ashley Cole had been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
