Ryan Garcia offers to STEP IN to fight Jake Paul after Mike Tyson suffered health scare weeks before Netflix showdown

Ryan Garcia has offered to replace Mike Tyson for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul after the heavyweight legend suffered health problems during a flight.

The 57-year-old became nauseous and dizzy, forcing airline staff to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board. Paramedics eventually boarded the plane to treat Tyson after it landed in Los Angeles.

It was less than two days before the boxing legend would fight YouTuber-boxer Paul in Texas.

They will meet in a controversial fight, broadcast on Netflix, on July 20 at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Tyson’s scare led to concerns over whether the fight would still go ahead and now Garcia has offered to step in – despite his ongoing PED scandal.

“If you want to fight and Mike can’t do it, let me know and I’ll fill it in,” Garcia told Paul in a private message he shared on social media on Monday.

Paul insisted that ‘nothing’ had changed regarding his fight with Tyson. “You like to make things up before you know the facts about clicks/likes,” he said Monday.

Tyson’s representatives insisted the former heavyweight champion was “doing great” after “a flare-up of an ulcer 30 minutes before landing.”

Garcia has been embroiled in a scandal in recent weeks after he upset Devin Haney only to test positive for a banned substance.

Haney’s father and trainer, Bill Haney, has called for the troubled fighter to be given a lifetime ban from boxing after he tested positive for ostarine.

The tests were administered the day before and the day of the fight in Brooklyn. Garcia denies all allegations.
