Ryan Garcia was called a “f*****gp***y” on Monday and seemingly challenged to a fight by ex-UFC star Sean Strickland after breaking his silence over a disturbing video posted on his social media accounts appeared.
Speaking about the scary clip, which claimed he was dead, Garcia said in a video posted to X on Monday that he didn’t have his phone, couldn’t access his Instagram and “it was being taken advantage of.”
But Strickland didn’t mind hearing Garcia speak about the situation, replying, “God, I hate famous people.” Bro, you’re fucking RICH… They’re kids in salt mines, kids dying of cancer begging for another day on this earth and you’re having a mental breakdown on social media. You f*****gp****…’
To this, Garcia replied, “If you knew God, you would not hate anyone. You went further and took advantage of a streamer who was someone without (experience),” which was a reference to his aggressive sparring session with streamer Sneako.
“And you gave him a concussion.” You think you’re doing a favor, but really you’re just a bully coming out in the name of a hero.”

“I lost brain cells when I read that!” Garcia said at the time. “Please show me how serious you are about handling this like men!! But let’s be serious: no internet stuff.’

The exchange on
‘We’ve got it, guys. RYAN GARCIA RIP B***H. 666’, was written over the clip, ‘Video is exactly 666 in time. WE TOLD YOU WE WERE COMING.’ A stream of random letters followed.
Garcia’s ex-wife, Andrea Celina, confirmed Garcia was alive but said he was “not doing well”
‘MARCH 3 SUNDAY 2024 we will cut RG’S THROAT and THROUGH HIM IN A BASKET NO ONE WILL FIND HIM BSABJANANANANANAJQKA ANAIQNANSBSNANABA A SNSNSNWKWNA S ANANSNSN SATAN IS NOW AT THE TOP. 666,” reads the message accompanying the X message.
However, Garcia insisted on Monday that he was doing well.
“Personally, I would just like to send a video to the people who love me and my fans, family who are concerned that I am doing well. I’m not dead, I believe in Jesus, all those (rumors) are lies.
Garcia’s ex-wife and the mother of his child, Andrea Celina, confirmed she had spoken to him but were less positive about the boxer’s current condition.
“If all my followers are believers, would you please pray for Ryan,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
‘We are not together and I have been in contact with him and he may see it well, but that is not the case. I know in my heart that he is sorely oppressed. This is not a troll, I am genuinely concerned, and so are all his family members. We are not part of this and want him to get better, but this IS REAL. Praying for him.”
His father, Henry Garcia, also provided a brief update when a fan commented on one of his previous Instagram posts.
The coach assured them that his son was “just trolling,” but hinted that there was more going on behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn admitted he is increasingly concerned about Garcia’s behaviour.
Hearn said: ‘He just didn’t seem himself to the press, if I’m honest.’
“I think I’ve been around a lot of people and a lot of fighters that I’ve seen have problems, and I’ve never been wrong to think to myself, ‘This person has a problem here.’
Garcia will face Devin Haney on April 20.
