Ryan Garcia has claimed he has made ‘over $50 million’ from his stunning victory over Devin Haney, with the boxer saying he bet $2 million on himself to emerge victorious from the fight.
Garcia shared on Instagram on Monday a screenshot of a report saying he made $10 million ($12 million gross) from the $2 million bet he apparently made.
“You bet, BET ON YOURSELF,” he wrote.
“On top of what we created. GOOD FOOD. About 50 million (probably more) in one night, not too shabby.”
“I will let God guide me on how to use this money. Amen.’

There is no further confirmation of Garcia’s commitment to the fight other than his word, and he reshares social media posts saying the same thing.
Either way, he’s certainly in a good mood after knocking out Haney in Brooklyn on Saturday.
After a very tumultuous and tempestuous build-up to the fight – in which he was forced to undergo a mental health evaluation – Garcia entered the fight as a huge underdog.
Nevertheless, he recorded three official knockdowns of his opponent to stun the Barclays Center crowd.
Garcia’s alleged $2 million bet wasn’t the only one he made prior to the fight.

After earning 143.2 pounds, Garcia owed Haney $1.5 million and Haney said his opponent honored the bet.

The Instagram post, which appeared to be a screenshot from a TikTok, showed Garcia standing over Haney after a knockdown.
“Ryan didn’t just beat Haney,” reads a message on the photo. “He also defeated the promoters, referees and the illuminati.”
“NO WEAPON WILL BE USED AGAINST ME,” Garcia then partially captioned the photo.
There were concerns about Garcia’s mental health in the lead-up to the fight, which came to a head on March 3, when a cryptic and disturbing video claiming he was dead after receiving his ‘throat slit’ was posted on his social media accounts was posted.
