Video shows a mutiny ignited in Ulyanovsk after more than 100 mobilized Russians refused to be sent to the front to fight Ukraine.

The troops rioted because Vladimir Putin’s officials failed to pay the ‘promised’ payment of £4,200 to their families in the impoverished region of Chuvashia, they claimed.

A female army officer has previously been seen protesting the uniformed men, amid reports that national guards and OMON riot police had been called in to quell the disobedience.

The female officer complains, “Guys, I didn’t promise you 300,000” [roubles].’

“Obviously – we were fucking fooled,” said one mutineer.

The incident reportedly followed a previous failed attempt to pacify the enraged recruits by army officers.

More than 100 mobilized Russians refuse to be sent to Vladimir Putin’s Ukrainian frontline because officials have not paid their families a ‘promised’ payment of £4,200. A female military officer protests with the uniformed men

The money was intended to go to their families in the impoverished region of Chuvashia. “Obviously – we were fucking fooled,” said one mutineer as the female officer tries to allay their concerns

The military unit was trained in Ulyanovsk before being sent to the front.

Ukraine’s General Staff has previously said that Russian private military companies recruited prisoners from the city’s prisons to fight in the war.

Critics say the call sends men to the front like cannon fodder, but thousands have been lured by promises of payments far higher than their usual salaries.

“I came here from Moscow,” a conscript reservist at the mutiny said, furious that the money didn’t reach his family. “Because this is the motherland and the president appealed to all of us.”

He stated: “When I came to the recruiting office, the military commissar told me: “As soon as you get there, there will be a one-time payment of 300,000 rubles. [£4,200] in two, three days…”‘

The money was intended to go to their families in the impoverished region of Chuvashia, but it never arrived.

One hears mobilized men demanding, “Who fooled us?”

Others said, ‘It’s hopeless’ and added, ‘Why are we here anyway?’

The female military officer tells them that the promise of an advance was in a Communist Party bill and was not ratified.

A recruit hits back: ‘They have to give back their party IDs and then go themselves…’

The mutiny is at a military unit in Ulyanovsk where the men are being trained. They can be heard saying: ‘We refuse to participate in the Special Military Operation and will seek justice until we pay the money promised by our government headed by the President of the Russian Federation!’

According to unconfirmed reports, the uprising was crushed by Putin’s troops

This is when a man is heard saying, “Obviously we were fooled.”

Another clip shows what appear to be the same soldiers who take to the streets at night and chant slogans.

Dear citizens of the Russian Federation, mobilized soldiers of the Chuvash Republic appeal to you!

“We risk our lives to die for your safety and your peaceful life!”

An open letter from the men also emerged with a different amount for the amount they had not paid.

“Our state refuses to pay us the amount of 195,000” [£2,750] rubles promised to us by our President Vladimir Putin!

“Then why would we go to war for this state and leave our families without support?

“We refuse to participate in the Special Military Operation and will seek justice until we pay the money promised by our government headed by the President of the Russian Federation!”

According to unconfirmed reports, the uprising was crushed by Putin’s forces.
