He testified that he had sex with Daria and then killed her in the bathroom.

Then he went for a businesslike pizza and smoke with Olga, who initially did not know that her friend had been murdered.
After she refused to have sex with him, he tied her up and gagged her, smoking and drinking next to her as she begged in vain for her life.
Forensic evidence showed that Olga died of strangulation. Maslennikov stabbed her repeatedly after her death.
He then went to buy an axe, file, shovel and plastic garbage bags.
Malyshev is currently in the military hospital with a broken jaw and shrapnel wounds

Prosecutors told the court that both women’s DNA was found on a meat grinder in his kitchen.
Local reports citing law enforcement said he fed some meat to dogs.
He chopped up the corpses with an ax and took them to a forest area where he dug a grave, breaking the shovel in the process.
One of the women had been cut into twenty pieces.
Malyshev is currently in the military hospital with a broken jaw and shrapnel wounds.
