The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 115-110 to kick off Game 1 in their first-round playoff series.
Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers with 38 points in the highly contested affair. The Clippers were also without All-Star forward Paul George, who has been ruled out of the series as he recovers from a knee injury.
Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 27 points, but suffered a loss in his first playoff appearance with the Suns.
