The KIIS FM star was invited by the Oscar winner to see him perform with his band at Sydney’s Manning Bar, but he left early – unbeknownst to Russell.
Kyle and Jackie O discussed the awkward moment on their podcast, which saw Kyle busted for the early exit after Russell tried to give him a present on stage.
Recalling the embarrassing moment, Jackie said, “He stops again and says ‘It’s your birthday’ and he has a present for you that he brings to the stage.
“He has a $400 bottle of tequila and he talks about how great it is, and he points in the direction he [thinks] you’re in,” she added.
