Russell Crowe proved that talent runs in the family on Monday when he took the stage at The Hoey Moey pub in Coffs Harbor with his son Charles.
The 58-year-old Oscar-winning actor was in his element as he belted out some tunes with various acts, including new Australian Idol judge Amy Shark.
He owned the stage at the Indoor Garden Party, joining his band The Gentlemen Barbers while all dressed in matching black suits.

The event, which is the brainchild of Crowe, Alan Doyle, Scott Grimes and Kevin Durand, also featured the likes of Lorraine O’Reilly, Janet Devlin, Myth of Her and the Jennen String Quartet.
Crowe’s girlfriend, Britney Theriot, made an appearance, taking the microphone as backing vocalist and wowing the crowd with her beautiful voice.
The actress-turned-real-estate agent, 31, wore bold red lipstick and a black dress, which she accessorized with layered gold necklaces.

Sporting a black suit, the 19-year-old caused an uproar on Twitter as Crowe’s fans raved about their son’s musical talents.
“Wow that’s so beautiful Charlie was singing there too,” one person wrote.
Crowe has always had a passion for music, though he is best known for his acting chops.

It comes after Crowe returned home to Nana Glen, near Coffs Harbor on the north coast of New South Wales, just before Christmas to kick off his family’s festivities.

After a great night of fun and celebrations, Crowe and his companions snuck away for a late-night snack and picked up kebabs on the way back home.
