The Gladiator star, 59, who plays a string of gigs on the East Coast, performed at The Northern Hotel.
Russell looked sharp in a black suit as he sang and played guitar.
He also joined him on stage with his American girlfriend Britney Theriot, 31, who served as his backup singer.
The actress turned real estate agent looked good to trot in a black mini dress and sneakers.

Russell is booked for more gigs in Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in the coming weeks.
He will play at the Sydney Opera House on June 9, with Marcia Hines as a special guest.
