Russell Crowe gave fellow actor and friend Liam Hemsworth a very generous and pricey gift just before they hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new movie.
Speak at the Poker face premiering in Sydney on Tuesday, Liam, 32, revealed to Kyle and Jackie O’s intern Pete that Russell handed him a $20,000 Rolex Deepsea.
“He bought me this Rolex. I went to his house tonight. He gave me this,” Liam said, flashing the Oystersteel watch.

‘He’s a good friend. I love him,” he added.
Trainee Pete then jokingly asked if he could have the Rolex, which Liam didn’t seem to hear.
“I shouldn’t have asked that,” he told the Australian actor.
At the Sydney premiere of Poker Face on Tuesday, Liam, 32, revealed to Kyle and Jackie O’s Intern Pete that Russell presented him with a $20,000 Rolex Deepsea
During the segment, host Kyle Sandilands accused Pete of asking Liam to give him the brand new watch.
“You asked him for the Rolex. He’s only had it on his arm for an hour,” Kyle, 51, said.
“I thought I might catch him at a good time. Maybe he can give me that watch,’ Pete replied.
“He bought me this Rolex. I went to his house tonight. He gave me this,” Liam said
Liam flashed the watch as he posed next to his sister-in-law Elsa Pataky
“It sounds desperate,” Kyle added.
Liam hung out with his model girlfriend Gabriella Brooks, 26, at the premiere of Stan’s in Sydney Poker face on Tuesday.
The genetically blessed pair were all smiles as they put on a united front for the star-studded blue carpet alongside Russell Crowe, sister-in-law Elsa Pataky and singer Natalie Imbruglia.
The couple’s last public appearance was at the exclusive charity gala Gold Dinner on June 10, 2021.

Liam looked dashing on the evening in a fitted black suit which he teamed with a crisp white shirt and black tie. He completed his look with lace-up boots.
Meanwhile, Gabriella opted for a sleeveless gold semi-sheer dress that hugged her slim figure. She completed her look with a pair of pointy gold heels.
The stunning beauty wore her dark brown hair up for the occasion, emphasizing her delicate features.
InTouch claimed that the couple called time in August this year about their relationship.

Gabriella was said to be “heartbroken” after the Hunger Games star ended the romance because he “didn’t want to be tied down” when his acting resumed after the pandemic ended.
