One star who probably won’t turn down the chance to headline the Super Bowl halftime show is Lil Wayne.
Next year’s spectacle seems like a perfect fit for the New Orleans-born rapper, and he’s made no secret of his desire to headline the event.
Wayne, who is the third-most likely to win at 33.3 percent (+200), has admitted he’s “praying” the NFL offers him the job.
“Fingers crossed. I’m working hard. I’m making sure this next album and everything I do is gonna be killer,” the rapper said on his YouTube channel.
“I just want to make it hard for them not to put the kid in the spotlight,” he added, referring to himself.

Hopefully, for the Los Angeles native and Lamar Jackson himself, the team can get past the Chiefs and the AFC title round. If she does, she will be named as a headliner in New Orleans.

The British-Albanian pop star, who added Friday night’s Glastonbury to her headline show last month, is rated 400+ and has a 20 percent chance of performing in New Orleans next year.
Last year, she was tipped off to a date with Ravens star Patrick Queen after the linebacker asked her out at X.
Queen said he was inspired by Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
There’s even a “concept” concert of Dua Lipa performing during halftime of Super Bowl LVI in 2021. It features hits like “Electricity,” “New Rules” and “Break My Heart.”

Jay-Z was named the NFL’s Live Music Entertainment Strategist in 2019 and has revolutionized the Super Bowl halftime show experience through his label Roc Nation.
“The NFL has a great platform and it should be accessible to everyone,” the rap legend said shortly after the deal was announced, despite protests against racial injustice in the US.
“They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, so we can do some good.”
Since being hired by the league five years ago, Jay-Z has managed to recruit a number of big-name performers, including Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, to perform at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
