Runcorn stabbing: Teenager knifed after street brawl in Brisbane

A 14-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with stab wounds after allegedly being involved in a street fight.

Emergency services rushed to Kalanda Street in Runcorn in Brisbane's south just after 11.20pm on Saturday where a large group of people were found on the street.

The teenager was found with a stab wound to his abdomen and was given first aid before being rushed to hospital.

Additional police teams, the dog squad and a helicopter also rushed to the scene to control the crowd.

Police set up two crime scenes, one in the front yard of a house and another in the street where the 14-year-old was found injured.

Five people have been arrested and are assisting police with the investigation.

Anyone with camera or dashcam footage is asked to contact police as soon as possible.
