A stunning Melbourne mansion owned by businessman Andrew Cox has hit the market with an eye-watering list price of $13.5 million – $14.3 million.
This is the third time in three years that the billionaire has attempted to vacate the glorious 132-year-old Italian-style house in Brighton.
Well known in the sporting world because former Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby Club owner Cox, 55, first put his stunning seven-bedroom, six-bathroom property up for sale in April 2021.
Cox last changed hands in 2006 for $5.71 million and had high hopes for a high price after another mansion nearby sold for more than $10 million in February 2021.
But it appears the $18 to $19 million price tag for the lush sprawl proved too high for buyers.
