Rudy Giuliani steps out from his New York apartment – after furiously denying claims he groped Cassidy Hutchinson on January 6

Rudy Giuliani stepped out of his New York City apartment on Thursday, the day after his vehement denial that he groped former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson on January 6, 2021.

Dressed in a navy blue blazer, black pants and white button-down, photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show Giuliani leaving his apartment to hail a cab.

Giuliani, 79, was flanked by his assistant as they got out of the taxi downtown and entered a building with a business address.

It’s the first time Giuliani has been spotted following the revelations about Hutchinson’s claims against him.

On Wednesday, Giuliani denied the 27-year-old’s allegations as “absolutely false” and “completely absurd.”

A biographer also claims that Giuliani has been left “destitute” given the many legal costs he faces.

Andrew Kirtzman, a journalist who covered Giuliani for decades and published a critically acclaimed biography of him last year, told CNN that the former New York mayor has squandered all of the $100 million he earned over the past five years.

‘He’s had several divorces. He lived very high, his ex-wife said they spent $250,000 a month on pure pleasure,” the biographer said.

“He was living very well and now he’s penniless and facing prison,” Kirtzman said of the litany of civil and legal woes against Giuliani.

Now, in addition to these alleged financial problems, he is accused of sexually assaulting a former Trump White House aide.

Hutchinson was working for then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on the day of the January 6 Capitol riot.

Because of her proximity, Hutchinson was invited to appear before the House panel investigating the attack to give her testimony, which attracted widespread attention.

She is now coming out with a book detailing her accusations against Giuliani.

Hutchinson claims in her memoir Enough, obtained by The Guardian, that Giuliani put his hand “under my blazer and then under my skirt.”

‘I feel his frozen fingers sliding along my thigh. He holds his chin up. The whites of his eyes look jaundiced. My eyes dart to (Trump adviser) John Eastman, who wears a leering grin,” she wrote.

Asked for comment, Giuliani initially declined to respond to The Guardian, which obtained a copy of the book before publication.

However, a spokesperson for Giuliani has since said that her claims were only made as an attempt to sell more copies of her memoir.

On Wednesday, Giuliani appeared on Newsmax and was asked by host Eric Bolling about her allegations.

“Mr. Mayor, before we let you go, something was circulating earlier today. Cassidy Hutchinson is claiming something about you…” Bolling said.

He said her story was not credible, adding: “Completely, absolutely false. Totally absurd.’

Giuliani responded, “Completely, absolutely untrue. Totally absurd.’ He said her story was not credible.

“She claims that I groped her on January 6 in a tent where all the people went in who were very cold because of the president’s speech and so on. Am I going to grope someone? With a hundred people?’ Giuliani said.

“First of all, I’m not going to grope anyone at all, and number two, in front of like a hundred people?

“Plus, I had extra security that day and had my entire staff around me pretty much all day, because I took them to the speech as a kind of reward for all the work they had done.

“So I took ten people to the speech and they were with me pretty much every moment I was there, and when I wasn’t talking to them I was taking pictures with people. So there would have been no reason for this to happen.

“It’s completely absurd, it’s as insane as her saying that the president jumped over the seat and took over the car.”

Hutchinson made headlines when she testified before the Jan. 6 Committee that Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of his presidential car as it left the Jan. 6 rally and steer it toward the Capitol.

Hutchinson’s accusation emerged two days after Giuliani’s former lawyer sued him, alleging he paid only a fraction of the $1.6 million in legal fees he earned from investigations into his efforts to impeach Donald Trump to keep the White House.

Robert Costello and his law firm, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, say Giuliani is still owed $1.36 million.

According to the lawsuit, Giuliani’s last payment was $10,000 on September 14.

“I cannot express how personally hurt I am by what Bob Costello did,” Giuliani said Monday.

“It’s a real shame when lawyers do this kind of thing, and all I’m saying is that their bill is way higher than anything even close to legitimate fees.”

Giuliani, Trump and 17 others were indicted in Georgia last month.

They are accused by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis of plotting to undermine Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Giuliani has denied being guilty of charges that he was a co-conspirator.

Giuliani could also face a huge financial penalty after a judge found him liable last month in a defamation lawsuit brought by two Georgia election workers who say he falsely accused them of fraud.

In July, he put his Manhattan apartment up for sale for $6.5 million.

After his indictment, he directed social media followers to his legal defense fund’s website.
