Rudy Giuliani has denied allegations that he groped a White House aide on January 6, calling her claims “absolutely false” and “totally absurd.”
Cassidy Hutchinson, 27, who worked for then chief of staff Mark Meadows, claims in her new book that the 79-year-old put his hand “under my blazer and then under my skirt.”
She writes: ‘I feel his frozen fingers sliding along my thigh. He holds his chin up. The whites of his eyes look jaundiced. My eyes dart to (Trump adviser) John Eastman, who flashes a leering grin.”
Asked for comment, Giuliani initially declined to comment The guardwho obtained a copy of the book before its publication.
Giuliani’s spokesperson has since said her claims were made to sell her memoir. On Wednesday, Giuliani appeared on Newsmax and was asked by host Eric Bolling about her allegations.

“Mr. Mayor, before we let you go, something was circulating earlier today. Cassidy Hutchinson is claiming something about you…” Bolling said.
Giuliani responded, “Completely, absolutely untrue. Totally absurd.’ He said her story was not credible.
“She claims that I groped her on January 6 in a tent where all the people went in who were very cold because of the president’s speech and so on. Am I going to grope someone? With a hundred people?’ Giuliani said.
“First of all, I’m not going to grope anyone at all, and number two, in front of like a hundred people?
“Plus, I had extra security that day and had my entire staff around me pretty much all day, because I took them to the speech as a kind of reward for all the work they had done.
“So I took ten people to the speech and they were with me pretty much every moment I was there, and when I wasn’t talking to them I was taking pictures with people. So there would have been no reason for this to happen.
“It’s completely absurd, it’s as insane as her saying that the president jumped over the seat and took over the car.”

Hutchinson made headlines when she testified before the Jan. 6 Committee that Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of his presidential car as it left the Jan. 6 rally and steer it toward the Capitol.
Hutchinson’s accusation emerged two days after Giuliani’s former lawyer sued him, alleging he paid only a fraction of the $1.6 million in legal fees he earned from investigations into his efforts to impeach Donald Trump to keep the White House.
Robert Costello and his law firm, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, say Giuliani is still owed $1.36 million.
According to the lawsuit, Giuliani’s last payment was $10,000 on September 14.
“I cannot express how personally hurt I am by what Bob Costello did,” Giuliani said Monday.
“It’s a real shame when lawyers do this kind of thing, and all I’m saying is that their bill is way higher than anything even close to legitimate fees.”
Giuliani, Trump and 17 others were indicted in Georgia last month.

They are accused by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis of plotting to undermine Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.
Giuliani has denied being guilty of charges that he was a co-conspirator.
Giuliani could also face a huge financial penalty after a judge found him liable last month in a defamation lawsuit brought by two Georgia election workers who say he falsely accused them of fraud.
In July, he put his Manhattan apartment up for sale for $6.5 million.
After his indictment, he directed social media followers to his legal defense fund’s website.
