Ruby Rose breaks her silence after vowing to expose Veronicas
Ruby Rose has spoken out for the first time since announcing plans to write a revealing memoir exposing her feud with The Veronicas.
The long-running feud between Ruby and pop twins Lisa and Jessica Origliasso looked set to continue with the release of the actress’ new book.
The Orange Is the New Black star, 36, dated Jessica from 2016 to 2018, during which time the sisters’ relationship became so strained they were on the brink of estrangement. Following the couple’s separation, the Origliasso’s repaired bridges and made a series of public statements criticizing Ruby.
Ruby announced several weeks ago that she had begun writing her book and vowed to expose the couple, whom she did not name but called “the sisters,” for “how horrible” they allegedly were to her.
He also claimed that the ‘truth’ he was writing would ‘upset a lot of people’.

appearing in Fitzy & Wippa from Nova FM On Tuesday, the actress and model addressed the cryptic Instagram posts, saying she shared them because she was writing about her trauma from past relationships at the time.
She explained that one old photo in particular, showing her with Jessica at the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere, brought back painful memories.
“Because that’s what I was writing about at the time,” he said.
“To be honest, I came across a picture of Pitch Perfect 3, the premiere. And I had forgotten that… the way I look, I’m emaciated.
Appearing on Nova FM’s Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday, the actress and model addressed her cryptic Instagram posts, saying she shared them because she was writing about her trauma from past relationships at the time.

“I’m just disassociated, I look so broken and I was filled with rage, because I was like, ‘How did I let it get so bad?'” she said.
‘And that’s why I wrote what I wrote. But what the book really is, and what matters to me in order to change its narrative, [is] It’s not kind of a tell-all, like Prince Harry…it’s kind of like, “Here are some things that happened that are pretty harsh.”
Ruby clarified that it won’t be a ‘revenge book’, but rather that she hopes to inspire others.
“I want it to be more of an inspirational book, as opposed to, you know, it’s not a revenge book, and it’s not a gossip book,” she said.
‘Definitely not a book I should be writing without my therapist.
“But the other parts are more about other things that have been said about, you know, when I broke my neck and was almost a paraplegic, and creating controversy for things that didn’t happen, because that’s how Hollywood can be.
‘There are a lot of things I’ve kept quiet about because I was already in a place where I didn’t want to add flames to the fire. I think everyone was going to keep doubling down on these things because I was silent.
‘You know, it’s like you ignore the bullies… I was taken advantage of because people knew my hands were tied and I didn’t want to create more of a ruckus in the situation.’

The feud between Ruby and The Veronicas was laid bare after Jessica broke off their on-and-off relationship in 2018.
The two women dated briefly in 2008 before rekindling their romance in 2016, only to break up again two years later.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show a few months after the split, Jessica said she was in “a very complex relationship.”
She added: ‘I’m still trying to accept reality every day, so it’s really hard to explain it to anyone.
“So much happened, so much that I can’t even get into it.”
Not only did the relationship not end amicably, but while Jess was dating Ruby for nearly two years, she was feuding with her twin sister and bandmate Lisa.

The Origliasso sisters (pictured in Los Angeles on June 25, 2019) said their band nearly fell apart due to their family breakup while Jessica was dating Ruby Rose.
smooth explained that the siblings’ relationship became extremely strained during Jessica’s time with Ruby, and for a whole year they did not speak or act together.
She called the period when they didn’t speak was “heartbreaking”, with Jessica adding: “When you have a twin, you have support for everything.”
“But sometimes, in order to evolve as an individual and find the love for myself that I needed to find, I needed to go through [that] experience for myself.
The sisters admitted that from 2016 to 2018, the band almost fell apart due to family breakdown, but the love of music eventually brought them back together.
