Ruby Franke 8 passengers slammed on TikTok after making her six-year-old go hungry at school

A mother has been criticized for forcing her six-year-old daughter to “go hungry” after she failed to make and pack her own lunch for school.

In the video which resurfaced this week, the mother of six and YouTuber Ruby Franke said she received a text from her daughter’s teacher telling her she hadn’t had lunch.

The mother said she gets similar texts “from time to time,” but refuses to drop off lunch at her school because it wouldn’t teach her anything.

“Her teacher is uncomfortable with her hungry and not having lunch and it would ease her discomfort if I came to school with lunch,” she said.

She responds to let the teacher know that her young daughter was responsible for making the lunch and had told her it was packed, so she wouldn’t be helping.

She added that she hopes “no one steps in” to feed the six-year-old.

“The natural result is that she will just have to go hungry,” she said.

“I hope she will be hungry and come home and be like ‘that was really painful being hungry all day. I’ll make sure I always have lunch with me,'” she added.

The to-the-point video has gone viral on TikTok with hundreds of parents criticizing the strict mom for her choices.

“If I were a mother, I would feel so uncomfortable knowing my baby was starving,” said one woman.

“If she was a teenager, fine, but Eve was six when this happened,” said another.

A third claimed, “Her kids won’t talk to her when they’re older.”

Others wondered what could be more important than going to school with lunch.

‘Kids can’t learn if they’re hungry. Their attention is then drawn to the fact that they are hungry rather than the lesson being learned,” said one woman.

Some criticized the mother for her comments about others helping her child.

“I hope no one feeds her – Bye girl!” wrote one.

Teachers also joined in.

“I’d fill out a report if a parent reacted that way when I asked them to provide basic necessities,” one said.

“I mean, honestly, my mom would have done the same thing. I’m not a fan of this family, but she should have packed her lunch,” said one woman.

“She lied about packing – bear the consequences,” said another.

At the end of the original YouTube video, the mom makes a charcuterie board with chopped bananas, cheese, and veggies.

She called out to the youngster to let her know that afternoon tea was ready and to come down and eat. She then made a point of discussing that the six-year-old hadn’t had lunch with the rest of the family.

She then has her daughter tell the camera that she plans to bring snacks to school in the future before letting her eat.

The mother has been criticized for her other choices, including not taking the youngster to school when she “didn’t wake up on her own.”

“This is nothing compared to other stuff I’ve seen on their channel,” said another.

The family has not been active on YouTube for over a year.
