Ruben Amorim’s press conference is interrupted by water dripping from the ceiling after Man United’s defeat by Bournemouth in what appears to be ANOTHER leak at Old Trafford

Water leaked from the ceiling when Ruben Amorim gave his post-match press conference.

Fresh from a dramatic comeback win over Man City and a spirited performance against Spurs in the EFL Cup midweek, United produced a dismal performance against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Andoni Iraola’s side dominated play at Old Trafford, with goals from Dean Huijsen and Antoine Semenyo either side of Justin Kluivert’s penalty to earn a comfortable victory for the visitors.

After the match, Amorim spoke of his side’s ‘nervous’ performance and insisted they will have to ‘suffer again’ as he continues his ambitious rebuild.

However, the club’s problems on the pitch may not be the only problem facing the Amorim as he attempts to return United to their former glory.

A clip shared on social media by Samuel Luckhurst showed water appearing to leak through the ceiling as the Portuguese held his post-match press conference.

The incident comes just months after urgent repairs were carried out at Old Trafford following the club’s defeat to Arsenal.

During the closing stages of the match, a heavy thunderstorm engulfed the 114-year-old stadium, where water could be seen pouring from one corner of the ground.

Videos on social media showed a flood flowing under the seats and even where the players’ tunnel met the locker rooms.

United said 4.5 centimeters of rain fell within two hours of the final whistle, but supporters of both clubs left the stadium safely.
