Royals appear in high spirits as they attend the third day of the Ascot races
Zara and Mike Tindall lead the arrivals of the Royal Family on Ladies Day as they arrived for day three of Royal Ascot.
Guests were photographed today wearing stunning outfits in a rainbow of colors as they made the most of the Berkshire sun during Ladies Day.
However, Zara opted for a summery white lace dress by Scanlan Theodore for the occasion, while her rugby ace husband Mike matched her in neutral tones.
The British Royal Family attended the event this week, with King Charles, Camilla, Princess Anne, 71, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Beatrice, 33, and Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi, 38, all in attendance.
The action erupted yesterday on the second day of Royal Ascot 2023 as the winnings rolled in and the champagne was on ice.

As the drinks kept coming and revelers began to celebrate their victories, they began to loosen up and lounge about, in good spirits on a sunny day.
Among the scenes of revelers heading home after a day of partying were savvy women who had dropped their high heels in favor of sensible flats to travel home with, as well as a gentleman who had bought some snacks to prepare him the evening.
Classy attendees put on a colorful and glamorous display as they arrived at the racecourse early for another day of heart-pounding racing and plenty of partying.
Many opted for wild and gorgeous outfits for the occasion, and some took advantage of this year’s updated dress code that allows women to wear pants.
The glamorous scenes at the start of day two, where white seemed to be the color of the moment among the earliest attendees, come after hilarious antics captured last night as the festival’s opening day drew to a close.
As the festival continues for its second day in the baking summer sun, partying race-goers will no doubt be ready for another day of festivities.
Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Camilla’s hopes for Royal Ascot were dashed when two of their horses went missing out on trophies.
The royal couple entered their thoroughbred Reach For The Moon in the Royal Hunt Cup, which took place this afternoon at Berkshire Racecourses.
Their other horse Circle of Fire also competed in the Queen’s Vase – but was defeated by jockey Frankie Dettori on a horse named Gregory.

The newly crowned king and queen watched the race closely from the royal box with other members of the royal family, including Zara Tindall and the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Before the Royal Hunt Cup kicked off, the King was seen conversing with one of his guests on the balcony – unaware that his horse was about to appear.
Camilla reached out to Lady Sarah Keswick, one of her oldest friends, and tugged on the sleeve of Charles’ morning suit to warn him of the action on the rails.
During the heart-pounding race, the pair put on an animated display and were both seen holding binoculars.
However, they couldn’t hide their disappointment when Reach For The Moon missed out on the title to gelding Jimi Hendrix, named after the legendary 1960s musician.
Sir Clive Alderton and his wife Lady Alderton, Private Secretary to King Charles III and Queen Camilla, also joined in the racing fun

Before the Queen’s Vase got underway, the Queen was seen swaying nervously in anticipation.
Frankie Dettori was cheered as he won the Queen’s Vase and performed his signature celebration by jumping out of the saddle to the ground.
Despite their losses at the racecourse, the royal couple appeared in high spirits when they met other members of their family.
King Charles and Queen Camilla left Zara Tindall in stitches earlier in the afternoon.
The opening of Royal Ascot 2023 saw many members of the royal family flock to the racecourse to celebrate King Charles’ first event as monarch.
Included in the royal lineup were King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
This year, race organizers paid tribute to Royal Ascot’s ‘biggest fan’, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away last September.
During her 70-year reign, the late Her Majesty attended almost every Royal Ascot festival, with the exception of last year.

This year, the organizers have displayed a heartwarming collection of photos of the Queen visiting Ascot over the years.
They include a black and white photo of the royal family riding the track in 1960 when she was 34 years old.
The mother of four was pictured wearing a headscarf and riding boots as her horse galloped down the track.
The Queen took part in an unofficial race with other members of her royal party and finished fourth.
In addition, the organizers also select a photo of the Queen beaming on Ladies Day in 2013.
The event proved to be one of the Queen’s most successful Ascots as her horse Estimate won the Gold Cup – making her the first monarch in 200 years to win the award.
The late royal was pictured beaming at her trophy, which was presented to her by her son Prince Andrew.
The Queen was dressed in one of her signature robe dresses in a pretty shade of purple.
Under her jacket, the queen wore a beautiful floral dress – which matched perfectly with the flowers on her hat.
The image shows the Queen wearing a three-strand pearl necklace – which she also wore to her last-ever Ascot in June 2021.
