Kate’s boy! Royal fans say Prince Louis ‘looks exactly’ like the Princess of Wales in his new 5th birthday portrait
Royal fans have enjoyed the last glimpse of Prince Louis after a photo was released to mark his birthday, with many saying he looks just like his mother.
Fourth in line to the throne turned five on April 23, and the Prince and Princess of Wales took to their official social media accounts to share adorable photos of Prince Louis smiling in a wheelbarrow, with the Princess of Wales by his side.
As the happy birthday messages and wishes poured in from all over the world, some fans noticed that Louis resembled his mother when she was younger – as well as her father Michael Middleton.
One photo is a close-up of the Prince smiling and another shot shows Louis holding the sides of a wheelbarrow as he sits atop weeds and dirt as a beaming Kate pushes him.

Those photos were taken in Norfolk, with royal fans suggesting that he resembled both his mother and father.
Kate also took her own photos for her kids’ birthdays and proudly shared them online.
Users took to Instagram to compare the two, with one saying, “Looks like HRH Princess Catherine.”
Another added: “Looks so much like his mother.”
A third wrote: ‘He is beautiful and looks like his mother. Happy 5th Birthday to Prince Louis.” A fourth wrote: ‘He is his mother’s spit.’

But other users said they also saw similarities between Prince Louis and Kate’s father, Michael Middleton.
One person said, ‘He looks like his grandfather!! (Katherine’s father)’
Another wrote: ‘Cute!!! I think he looks so much like his grandfather Middleton.”
A third wrote: “Definitely Grandpa Middleton.”
But others also compared Prince Louis to Princess Diana and the late Duke of Edinburgh.
Princess Charlotte’s eighth birthday is next on the calendar – just days before her coronation on May 2.

Earlier, Mary Berry revealed that the Princess of Wales stays up late the night before her children’s birthdays to bake their own birthday cakes.
Maria said: “She’s a good whistler and of course it’s her birthday today and she’s making her own children’s birthday cakes just like a normal mother.”
Prince Louis weighed 8 pounds 7 oz when he was born on April 23, 2018, in the private Lindo wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
Kate and William were beaming on the steps of the hospital when they were first pictured holding their bundle of joy. He was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, when he was 11 weeks old in the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.
