Royal fans joke Prince Harry’s in for a telling-off after resting his arm on his interpreter’s seat – as Spanish-speaking Meghan takes over translating duties for the rest of their Colombia tour

Prince Harry relaxed into a state of zen as he sat on stage with Meghan Markle during one of the opening events of their Colombia tour.

As the Duke and Duchess enjoyed a colourful tribal dance at the Delia Zapata National Centre for the Arts in Bogotá, the country’s capital, they displayed very different body language as spectators.

While Meghan, 43, kept a low profile and struck a commanding pose during the performance, Prince Harry, 39, sat more slouched in his chair.

Sitting between the Duchess and the couple’s English-Spanish translator, Harry felt so relaxed that he even rested his arm on the back of the translator’s chair, a gesture that royal fans couldn’t get enough of.

Prince Harry looked super relaxed as he watched a tribal dance in Bogotá, Colombia, with his wife Meghan Markle on Thursday

He appeared distracted as he looked back and gestured to someone off-camera, while Meghan and the translator appeared engrossed in the performance of ‘Kiss of the Hummingbird.’

Finally, a woman came up to the Duke to speak to him. He spoke softly to her, but then turned his attention back to the performance.

After the clip was posted online, royal fans joked that the Duke was at risk of a scolding from his wife, who was sitting on the other side of him.

Meanwhile, Meghan seemed unfazed by her husband’s informal gesture. She remained focused on the performance, speaking to Vice President Francia Márquez and pointing out some of the costumes before shaking hands with the dancers at the end of the performance.

She looked stylish as she donned her second outfit of the tour: a colorful maxi dress by Johanna Ortiz, who has Colombian roots.

The Duchess opted for the $2,150 burgundy Navajo Weaver Metallic Tweed Maxi Dress and wore her hair in loose waves, following her previous updo.

She stunned in her look, featuring a slit on her thigh and a stylish cutout in the middle.

While the dress itself appears to be new, Meghan wore a similar look during her ‘quasi-royal’ tour of Africa in May, wearing a £2,275 striped summer dress, also by Johanna Ortiz.

She kept the same jewelry as earlier in the day, but added her $12,800 Cartier “juste un clou” necklace, which she had worn before.

She nodded sweetly to the host country, as the dress is made in Colombia itself.

It’s also practical, with detachable ruffle sleeves, and is cool for the climate, yet stylish.

Meghan beamed as she watched the performance, which saw the bride and groom holding hands and showing lots of affection.

Earlier today, Meghan proved her fashion talents once again when she headed to Colombia with Prince Harry to begin their four-day tour of the South American country.

She flaunted style in a £596 collared cardigan from New York brand Veronica Beard.

The mother-of-two looked effortlessly elegant, teaming her sleeveless, knotted garment with matching navy ankle-length trousers from the designer, priced at £349.33.

The waistband was cinched in to accentuate the Duchess’s slim figure. The elegant ensemble was paired with black Manolo Blahnik heels and a $4,700 cream handbag from Italian company Loro Piana.

Harry and Meghan were received in the capital Bogota on Thursday by Colombian Vice President Francia Marquez and her husband Rafael Yerney Pinillo.

They spent about half an hour at the Vice President’s residence, where they exchanged welcome gifts and were offered tea, coffee and traditional pandebono (Colombian cheese bread).

The Sussexes were given extensive security during their visit by Mrs Marquez, who had invited the couple to travel to Colombia for what has been dubbed a DIY royal tour.
