Royal fans gush over hearing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children in tribute to beloved family dog

Fans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were thrilled to hear the voices of the royal couple’s two children in an emotional tribute video to Markle’s late Beagle.

The dog, named Guy, recently passed away ahead of his appearance in Markle’s new Netflix series.

After Markle, 43, shared a tribute video to Guy on social media, royal fans panicked after hearing audio of young children, believed to be Lilibet and Archie, singing in the background.

“I just love seeing the little family moments in this video and the singing at the end,” said one fan.

“Ooooh, that’s cute,” wrote another, while others expressed their excitement via emojis.

‘Awww, this is too cute! “I love dogs (much more than cats) and I sympathize with anyone who is mourning their furry friend,” wrote another.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a montage of the ‘sweet’ dog – who was about to appear in her Netflix show – on social media in a post on Tuesday.

The mother-of-two admitted she has “cried too many tears to count” and thanked her pet for years of “unconditional love.”

Pictures show Guy in bed with Meghan, enjoying cuddles with Harry and keeping the Duchess company as she busied herself with making jam.

“In Memory of Guy,” she wrote in the clip, urging followers to “adopt, don’t shop,” which included a montage of photos and videos featuring the pooch set to melancholic music.

‘In 2015 I adopted a beagle from a dog shelter in Canada. He had been in a shelter for the dead in Kentucky and had been given a few days to live. I pushed him up… and fell in love.

“They called him ‘the little man’ because he was so small and weak, so I called him ‘Man.’ And he was the best man a girl could ever ask for.”

The sweet tribute offers a rare glimpse into the Sussexes’ family life, featuring loving moments with the pet.

“We’re jamming, Guy,” Meghan can be heard saying to the dog in one video as she cooks raspberries on the stove as the curious Beagle joins her.

In other shots you can hear little Archie talking to Guy.

In one sweet clip, the five-year-old can be heard saying: “He might fall” as the dog joins him and his mother in the backseat, with Harry behind the wheel.

“It’s not going to fall, don’t worry, mommy has it,” Meghan replies. “Thanks for being such a good boy!”

Harry can also be heard cheering “come on Guy!” in one clip as he walks on the beach. ‘Well done!’

The end of the video features a sweet sing-along from Meghan and her kids – apparently led by little Archie – that reads: ‘We love you Guy! And we’ll be honest: if you’re not near us, we’re blue!’

It is the third upload on her Instagram page after she launched her new Netflix series last week on her brand new Instagram account, called With Love, Meghan.

A sleepy but cheerful man was seen in the trailer of the much-awaited show, which will be released next week.

‘If you used to follow me on Instagram, you saw a lot of him – and also on The Tig. “He was with me on Suits, when I got engaged (and then married), when I became a mother… he was with me for everything: the peace, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,” she shared.

‘He had a terrible accident shortly before I moved to Britain, which left him undergoing months of surgery and unable to leave the clinic. Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could. H and I drove late at night, out of hours, to see Guy as he spent months recovering in Surrey.”

Meghan expressed her gratitude to Dr. Noel and to ‘the team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our vets now, and my friends and community’.

“Thank you for loving him so much,” she said. ‘As many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you will understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you might fall in love a little too.

“I’ve cried too many tears to count — the kind of tears that make you step into the shower with the absurd hope that the rushing water on your face will somehow keep you from feeling them, or pretending they’re there not be. But they are. And that’s okay too.

‘Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my dear Guy. You filled my life in ways you will never know. As always, Meghan.”
