Eagle-eyed royal fans have been quick to point out the resemblance between August Philip Hawke Brooksbank and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Princess Eugenie shared an adorable clip of her son August, nicknamed ‘Augie’, on her Instagram account yesterday to celebrate his second birthday.
In the stills, the smiling boy shows off his dance moves as the Bee Gees’ Jive Talkin’ plays in the background.
“Happy second birthday to our son Augie,” wrote pregnant Eugenie, 32, who is currently expecting her second child. ‘You are the greatest joy of our world. Keep dancing and smiling my angel. xx’
Royal followers couldn’t help but notice the resemblance between August and his first cousin once Lilibet, one, was eliminated. Some also noted the similarity between the young man and the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, three-year-old Archie.
Eagle-eyed royal fans have been quick to point out the resemblance between August Philip Hawke Brooksbank (pictured) and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
One person wrote: ‘Could be Lilibet’s twin’, while another individual said: ‘His cousin Lilibet looks just like him!’
A third added: ‘Wow! He looks so much like Archie and Lili,’ as he wrote a fourth: ‘Oh he’s just adorable. Augie, Archie and Lili are three peas in a pod.
Little August, who is 13th in line to the throne, was born in February 2021 and is only several months older than Harry and Meghan’s daughter, who was born in June 2021.
Yesterday, Princess Eugenie also took to her Instagram Stories to share candid snaps of herself, August and husband Jack Brooksbank enjoying some wholesome family time together.
One clip shows them on a hike with the toddler as he splashes laughing in puddles while wearing wellington boots.
Other photos show him walking hand in hand with his parents on the beach, apparently during the festive season, with Jack wearing a Santa hat.
Last month, Sarah Ferguson said she was in ‘grandmother heaven’, revealing that she is ‘deeply grateful’ that Princess Eugenie is expecting her second child.
The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York shared the news by posting an adorable snap on Instagram showing August kissing her stomach.

While it is not known where the photo of the princess and August was taken, it appears to have been taken within the last few weeks, with frost on the ground.
In the post, the mother-of-one smiles at her young son, who is snuggled into her tummy with excitement. At the moment it is not known if she is expecting a boy or a girl.
