“Why is HE at the coronation?” Royal fans scratch their heads as magician Dynamo makes an unlikely appearance at Westminster Abbey with Stereophonics star Kelly Jones
Royal fans were left scratching their heads on Saturday morning when they saw an unusual guest arrive at the King’s coronation.
As the anticipation of the historic event built, eagle-eyed viewers saw Dynamo the Magician pop up with Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones at Westminster Abbey.
Many wondered why Dynamo, real name Steven Frayne, was there among such a star-studded lineup of guests, including Ant and Dec and Katy Perry.
People took to Twitter in droves to express their confusion over the guest at the event.
One person wrote, “I wonder what kind of talk Dynamo and Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics have during the #Coronation.”

Another person wrote, “I can’t believe Huw Edwards didn’t recognize the world’s greatest wizard Dynamo smh.”
A separate person wrote: ‘Heavy that Charles doesn’t have enough friends so he had to invite Kelly Jones and Dynamo to his coronation.
“These are the faces of two men who feel very out of their depth.”
It was later revealed that Dynamo, like Ant and Dec, has a role within the Prince’s Trust, set up by King Charles.
He is a charity ambassador, which helped him a lot in the early part of his career.
It comes after Ant and Dec posed for photos with a guest at the King’s coronation on Saturday morning as they prepared for the festivities to begin.
They were among the hundreds of guests who had to be seated in Westminster Abbey at 9am and couldn’t believe they had been invited.
While waiting for proceedings to begin, the stars looked cheerful as they took a selfie with another invitee.
Ant and Dec smiled broadly as the man held out his phone and snapped the photo.

Ant and Dec joked that they were going to recruit recruits for the next I’m a Celeb series as they shared how “proud and privileged” they were to be among those invited to King Charles’s coronation.
They burst out laughing at the fact that they would be in the abbey this morning with dignitaries and world leaders.
Speaking in an ITV interview when they arrived excited, they were asked, “How do you feel about not being the most important people in the room?”
“It feels great to be honest,” Ant said. “You know, I watched all the coverage last night, I’ve been, leading up to… people have been crowned in Westminster Abbey for thousands of years…
‘You are part of history! It’s fantastic. So we’re just glad we were invited.’
