Royal expert claims there’s a big problem with Prince Harry’s claim that his brother William knocked him to the ground: ‘Something’s off’

  • Leaked excerpts from the bombing memoirs have sparked a wave of controversy.
  • Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson said something ‘doesn’t fit’ in his memoir
  • He disputed one of the details shared by Prince Harry about the altercation

A royal expert claims “something’s off” in Prince Harry’s latest book, saying he finds it odd that the duke called his therapist after the fight, but not when his wife had suicidal thoughts.

In his forthcoming memoir, Spare, Prince Harry, 38, sensationally claims that his brother William, 40, knocked him to the ground after a heated argument in which he called his wife Meghan Markle “rude”, “difficult ” and “abrasive”.

The Duke of Sussex says the Prince of Wales grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the ground, where he smashed a dog bowl with his back.

Harry claims the couple got into a shouting match over their failed relationship and press issues before his brother left him with visible injuries from the alleged fight, including “scratches and bruises”.

The heated argument reportedly broke out in the kitchen of his London home, Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019.

Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson said he was “surprised” that Harry had published claims about the alleged assault in his memoir, but the idea of the brothers going to physical blows did not surprise him.

William has a bit of a temper. Sibling fight, he happens from time to time,’ he said.

But he said there was “one part that didn’t fit” in Harry’s account of the alleged altercation with his brother: the call he made to his therapist shortly after.

Jobson questioned why the duke had not made a similar call to his therapist when his wife Meghan revealed she was having suicidal thoughts.

Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson (pictured) says there is “something that doesn’t add up” to Prince Harry’s description of the alleged altercation with his brother.

“The first person she spoke to on the phone when she had the altercation with her brother was her therapist,” she told Sunrise on Friday morning.

‘If you remember, a few weeks ago, he said he didn’t know what to do when his wife had suicidal thoughts.

“They’re having fistfights in the kitchen over a dispute over Meghan and he’s on the phone with his therapist, but he didn’t know what to do when his wife had suicidal thoughts.

It doesn’t really add up. I think there are so many conflicts of interest there. Surely, if he has his own therapist, he can resolve his wife’s suicidal thoughts.

Jobson said he doubted the royal family would seek the help of mediators or family psychologists in potential talks in 2023.

‘He is real? Does he honestly think there’s going to be a dialogue after this? I certainly would not sit down and try to negotiate with him,” she said.

I don’t think they’re going to go that deep. I think this is a clear betrayal of trust.

The Duke sparked a frenzy of controversy after excerpts from his memoirs were leaked and spread around the world despite the efforts of his publisher Penguin Random House to keep the book secret.

Another leak revealed that Harry partly blamed William and Kate Middleton for his notorious appearance in a Nazi uniform at a 2005 costume party.

In an excerpt published by Page Six, Harry claims he was considering wearing the Nazi uniform or a pilot outfit for the ‘native and colonial theme’ event, and the duke writes that he called his brother and sister-in-law for their input.

The couple ‘howled’ over the costume, Harry wrote, according to the publication.

At the time, the story made global headlines after an image of Harry in uniform appeared on the front page of The Sun newspaper.

The ‘bomb’ memory will be officially released on January 10, but is currently available to pre-order on Amazon for $35 for a hardcover copy.
