Another two construction companies have collapsed as the latest causes of the crisis in the country’s construction industry, leaving dozens of homes unfinished.
Perth-based construction firm Western Luxury Homes Pty Ltd was liquidated on Friday, according to a notice published by ASIC.
This announcement came days after boutique builder Royal Construction and Design filed for bankruptcy on August 8.
It is clear that 12 houses were incomplete when Western Luxury Homes went bankrupt, with signed contracts dating back to mid-2020.
Customers are being urged to contact their insurer, QBE Insurance, following the shocking collapse.

“This allows homeowners to begin hiring another registered builder to complete the work or manage other remedies they may be entitled to,” said Saj Abdoolakhan, executive director of Building and Energy.
Subcontractors involved should also contact RSM Australia directly.
The failing company has now been turned over to RSM liquidators Travis Kukura and Jerome Hall Mohen, who will take charge of finding a solution to the company’s financial problems.
Both firms join other failed construction companies, including Slatter Group, WA Housing Group, Flexible Homes, Individual Developments, Hamlen Homes and City Residence.
