Royal Blue! King Charles and Queen Camilla co-ordinate their outfits in teal and navy

The King and Queen looked regal in coordinated outfits as the sun shone down on them during their first joint engagement since this morning’s coronation.

King Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla, 75, beamed as they met adoring royal fans at Covent Garden, central London. They made several visits.

While the King was sharp in a navy blue suit, Queen Camilla sparkled in a teal blue coat dress with a chiffon scarf and pearl earrings.

Shaking hands with well-wishers who gathered to catch a glimpse of Their Majesties, the royal couple made the perfect team.

Today’s outing marks the couple’s first joint royal engagement since the eyes of the world were on them at Westminster Abbey on May 6 during the coronation.

While the grandeur of the occasion may have been seen on their faces at the time, with only a hint of nervousness visible on their faces, today the King and Queen looked relaxed as they resumed royal duties.

During their visit, King Charles and Queen Camilla met entrepreneurs, including market traders, people from area arts organizations and other members of the community.

To begin their visit, Their Majesties went to St Paul’s Church, known as the Actors’ Church, to mark her 390th birthday. While at the church, they met community theater groups who use it as their meeting space.

In particular, Camilla met the Church’s Drama for Healing Group, founded in 2019, which works primarily with women who have been victims of domestic violence. The Queen has long championed the cause of ending domestic violence and is a patron of the SafeLives charity.

Before leaving the church, Their Majesties signed the visitors’ book, previously signed by the late Queen Elizabeth in 1988.
