Ascot revelers looked a little worse as the first day of the race festival concluded last night – when for some the party was just getting started.
Racegoers dressed in all their finery were spotted stocking up on evening snacks, taking some time off with a cigarette and laying out on the sidewalk for a bit.
However, for some, the party seemed to go on all night when they were spotted having drinks as the sun set on Berkshire Racecourse.
Some well-dressed ladies among the classy guests were spotted bending down on the curb to take off their heels and put on their flats before making the journey home.
And for one reveler, the walk back home was a bit too much to bear — so her sturdy boyfriend slung her over his shoulders instead.

The exhausted revelers headed home after an exciting first day of Royal Ascot 2023, where race-goers put their best feet forward in stunning outfits to enjoy the day.
And the festival took on a royal touch as members of the royal family arrived and joined a procession in King Charles’ first as monarch.
Members of the royal family spotted at Berkshire Racecourse included race-crazed Princess Anne and Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and King Charles and Queen Camilla.
As part of this year’s festival, organizers paid tribute to Ascot’s ‘biggest fan’, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away last September.
After developing a love and passion for horse racing during her 70-year reign, the late monarch has missed just one Royal Ascot event in seven decades, and that was last year.

This year, Royal Ascot paid tribute by renaming a race in honor of the late Queen. The Platinum Jubilee Stakes, a six furlong sprint run on the Saturday of Ascot’s five-day meeting, will henceforth be known as the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
Queen Elizabeth II had a total of 24 winners, being an avid racehorse owner, with her last win via Tactical in the Windsor Castle Stakes three years ago.
Choir Boy raced home as her first ever winner at the 1953 Royal Hunt Cup, which took place the same week as Her Majesty’s coronation at Westminster Abbey.
