Roy Keane has given a typically blunt assessment of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's partial takeover at Manchester United, insisting the focus is on the pitch.
Ineos owner Ratcliffe saw his £1.3 billion investment in a 25 percent stake and control of Man United's football operations confirmed on Christmas Eve.
Keane says everything the takeover does will be a step up from how things have gone at Old Trafford, but wants things to focus on the football and not off-the-field issues.
Speaking to ITV Sport ahead of Man United's FA Cup match against Wigan Athletic, Keane said: 'It can't be worse than it's been in recent years when it comes to decision-making, people making decisions in the workplace when it comes to recruitment , the compensation they paid, the wages they distributed.
'You hope that there will be a change in the dynamics at the club, new opinions. But only time will tell.”

He believes the focus should be on results, starting with Wigan in the FA Cup, as the winner of Monday's tie will travel to Newport County or Eastleigh in the fourth round.
Keane said: 'Get some results, get a win tonight. We've seen the draw, it's an easy draw for them. It's the only trophy they can win this season.
'Focus on football. Hopefully top-down decisions will improve in the coming years.”
