Roy Keane believed Manchester United showed a long-lost attacking spirit in the 3-0 win over Everton on Sunday.
A wonder goal from Alejandro Garnacho was followed by second-half goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as United secured their biggest win in the Premier League this season.
The win extended their run to five wins from their last six league matches, closing the gap to four points on the top four.
However, recent victories have been characterized by late goals and close margins, and this was a much more impressive performance in front of a hostile Goodison Park crowd.
Now that all three of Erik ten Hag’s attackers are on the scoresheet, the Dutchman will certainly feel a little less pressure on Wednesday in the run-up to an important Champions League match against Galatasaray in Istanbul.

Former United captain Keane was pleased with what he saw, especially some fine interplay that saw Martial win a penalty after Ashley Young’s foul, allowing Rashford to head home from 12 yards.
He said: “It’s about their attacking players performing at key moments. United have not scored enough goals this season.
‘She [Everton] can argue all day, it’s a punishment, he left his leg in it. Martial, I’m not his biggest fan, but he’s positive.
“It was fun to see Marcus grab it and pin it down. If the second goes in, the game is over.
