Roxy Jacenko enjoys a lavish birthday lunch with her family and friends in Singapore amid mansion giveaway drama

Roxy Jacenko was treated to a very lavish birthday dinner in Singapore this weekend after her husband Oliver Curtis flew in all her closest friends and family.

The PR expert, 44, was recently embroiled in a mansion giveaway that saw her personally having to refund 7,000 people who signed up for her online “Brand Bootcamp.”

But she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face in a series of photos uploaded to Instagram on Monday as her doting partner, 39, gave Roxy a surprise dinner at ultra-exclusive Claudine restaurant.

‘The weekend that was – after four months of pure hell. This. “Oliver flew my closest friends and family to Singapore as a surprise dinner to celebrate my birthday,” she captioned the photo.

In the cheerful snaps, the PR guru was seen grinning from ear to ear as she posed with her closest friends and family, including daughter Pixie, 12, and son Hunter, nine, who she shares with Oliver.

The group dined on large quantities of caviar worth more than $500, with Oliver reserving a huge stall that could accommodate a dozen people and was decorated with bouquets of white and purple flowers.

A video shared to Instagram also showed the emotional moment Roxy walked into the restaurant and became teary-eyed as she saw all her loved ones waiting for her.

The entrepreneur was dressed in a simple black dress from Loewe worth a whopping $1,700, which she paired with a Hermes Birkin handbag.

Roxy’s lavish celebration comes after she released a new statement on Instagram in which her former business partners said they regretted doing business with her.

The Singapore-based Australian publicist made headlines last month when she promised to personally refund all 7,000 people who signed up for her online business course Roxy’s Brand Bootcamp.

The promotion, which Roxy launched together with business partners Youssef Tleis and Kassim Alaouie, included a number of prizes, including a luxury Cronulla home.

Contestants paid between $29 and $499 for a chance to win the extravagant prizes, but faced uncertainty after Roxy called in liquidators for the trio’s ailing company, Roxy’s Bootcamp Pty Ltd.

In a joint statement released on social media early last week, Youssef and Kassim expressed their regret and apologized to those affected.

“Our main concern has always been you, the public, and especially those who participated and purchased an entry in this promotion,” they stated.

“We cross-requested orders… so we could run the promotion and award the prizes,” they continued.

‘We offer you all our sincere apologies. “We fought as hard as we could and were even willing to make personal commitments to support our fight,” the couple added.

“We would like to express our deepest regret for entering into this collaboration with Ms. Jacenko. It was an incredibly challenging and eye-opening experience. We sincerely apologize,” the couple added.

‘We thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience or inconvenience caused. We will do our best to keep you informed,” they concluded.

Meanwhile, Roxy revealed in a statement released Saturday morning that she will personally refund those with tickets.

‘In life we can all make mistakes. We are only human. This ‘partnership’ was a mistake and is a life lesson. “I want to make it clear that I have never done anything other than act in the best interests of the consumers who purchased the course to attempt to deliver it,” she wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“It became clear that this was not going to end well and so I had to apply to the NSW Supreme Court for an injunction, which was granted on June 5, 2024.”

Prior to this legal action, Roxy revealed that she had taken proactive steps to pay outstanding bills and ensure the integrity of the $250,000 prize fund for the eventual winner.

Roxy highlighted a lack of control over the company’s financial accounts, including the $253,000 held therein, and expressed frustration at the lengthy legal process, which has now been extended until July 5, 2024.

Roxy took personal responsibility for the situation and confirmed her commitment to providing refunds

‘That’s why I’m taking matters into my own hands. I am offering the refund personally according to what I indicated on my personal Instagram about three weeks ago. Life lesson: don’t do business with strangers,” she concluded.
