Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted daughter bailed out of jail by birth mom after slamming star for not bailing her out

Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea O’Donnell was released from jail by her birth mother last week after more than a month in custody following an arrest on child abuse and drug charges.

Deanna Micoley posted $4,000 bail for the release of Chelsea, 27, in Wisconsin, with authorities requiring Chelsea to remain sober and not possess drugs or alcohol. American weekly reported Tuesday after reviewing court documents.

Chelsea was arrested on September 10 in Amberg, Wisconsin after a search warrant was served, and charged with child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Chelsea also faces misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and having drugs for which she did not have a prescription.

Chelsea was subsequently released after posting $2,000 bail later in September. She was then taken back into custody at the Oconto County Jail in Oconto, Wisconsin following an October 11 arrest in which she had a meth pipe.

Chelsea faced additional charges of bail jumping, meth possession and drug possession, in addition to misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting or obstructing an officer, the outlet reported.

Chelsea told Dailymail.com earlier this month that Rosie, 62, was taking a tough love approach to the legal situation with her.

“When I called Rosie to ask her to save me, she straight up said, ‘You belong in there,’” Chelsea said on Nov. 4. “She said, ‘I really can’t help you get out of there; I don’t want you to kill yourself. I don’t want to be responsible for you killing yourself.”

Chelsea told Dailymail.com from prison that she was upset that the Emmy-winning entertainer seemed more invested in the freedom of convicted murderers Erik and Lyle Menendez than her own.

“My mother is more interested in getting the Menendez brothers out of jail than in getting me out,” Chelsea said. ‘I have a drug problem. I need to go to rehab, but I’ve never killed anyone like the Menendez brothers.”

Chelsea told Dailymail.com that the A League of Their Own star has ‘turned his back’ on her.

This was said by the representative of the American Gigolo star American weekly from Chelsea on Tuesday that their “family hopes she gets the help she needs.”

Rosie, a longtime critic of newly elected President Donald Trump, is the mother of five adopted children: son Parker, 29, Chelsea, 27, Blake, 24, Vivienne, 21, and Dakota, 11.

The L Word: Generation Q artist spoke candidly about Chelsea’s ongoing drug and legal troubles in an Instagram post last month, saying the family hoped she could get sober in the future.

“Unfortunately, this is not new to our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we all hope she will find a way out of this deadly disease,” the Long Island, New York, resident said on Instagram on October 19.

Chelsea told Dailymail.com that she felt there was a chance she could “end up in jail” because of the arrests, and that she wanted to “spend time with” her four children if that was the case.

Chelsea added at the time: “I’m trying to get bailed out of this.”

Under the terms of her release, Chelsea is allowed to see her children with Vicki Bourassa as a court-appointed supervisor. The explosion reported Tuesday. (Vicki is the mother of Chelsea’s ex Jacob Bourassa, the father of three of Chelsea’s four children.)

Chelsea is also mother to one-year-old son Atlas, whose father is her boyfriend Jacob Nelund.

Under the terms of her current release, Chelsea was ordered by the court not to “possess/consume any illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia/controlled substances without a valid prescription,” according to legal documents reviewed by the outlet.

Chelsea will have to report to court in the case on December 12, the outlet reports.
