Rosie O’Donnell joins string of Hollywood lefties mourning The Don’s thumping election victory

Rosie O’Donnell is the latest celebrity to join the line of Hollywood leftists mourning Donald Trump’s historic election victory.

The comedian, and frequent Trump critic, took to TikTok on Wednesday to share a video in which she claimed she felt “stunned and a little numb” after his historic victory.

In the five-minute rant, she told the camera she spent the evening watching Love Island Australia while trying to avoid World News Tonight.

After explaining how she and her son Clay had the flu, O’Donnell went on to say that she woke up at 3 a.m. to the news of Trump’s success before watching Harris’ speech, “which must be very difficult have been’.

She recalled seeing Claire McCaskill cry on Deadline: White House with Nicole Wallace and “so many moving videos of people today talking about how to take care of yourself when you’re overwhelmed, stressed and scared.”

His defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris marks a remarkable return for a twice-impeached president

“When fear seems to win, you have to step up in faith, that’s what I believe,” she said with tears in her eyes.

O’Donnell expressed her sadness at the thought of the US being “two halves instead of one whole,” saying the country is “so divided,” before dishing out self-help advice to those also mourning Trump’s victory.

“Get ready, because we’re in for one hell of a ride with him at the helm and no immunity guards,” she continued.

O’Donnell further proposed to “abolish the Electoral College… it’s the popular vote, that’s what we need to do,” despite Trump also winning the popular vote in his landslide.

He achieved his remarkable victory on a night reminiscent of 2016, capturing the key swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

But this isn’t the first time the comedian has criticized Trump, as she lashed out in August, calling the then-former president an “idiot,” as he said during his press conference on Thursday.

“Do you see this idiot talking?” O’Donnell said in the 30-second clip as Trump’s voice could be heard in the background.

‘Can he form a coherent sentence? He is the worst thing that ever happened – period. And he just babbles like an incoherent c******. He’s like that [Marvel villain] Doctor Doom. He’s the worst.’

After taking a brief pause in her rant to listen to Trump, the A League of Their Own star added, “Oh, you know what, he just lies, lies, lies. I’m done with Donald Trump. Let’s be done with Donald, okay? Done with Donald’.

To reiterate her disdain for Trump, O’Donnell even captioned the post: “DONALD IS DONE. #NEVERTRUMP’.

O’Donnell has joined a long list of celebrities who have long spoken out against Donald Trump taking office, claiming if Trump won, they were out.

The View’s Whoopi Goldberg, a notable critic of Trump’s political career, declined to acknowledge Trump by name during the ABC chat show’s broadcast Wednesday.

“He’s the president,” Goldberg said. “I’m still not going to say his name, that won’t change.

Actress Raven-Symoné promised she would move to Canada with her family if Trump won.

She emphasized her seriousness on The View in 2016, saying, “I already got my ticket. I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”

Jimmy Fallon said America has ‘got back together with its crazy ex’, while Stephen Colbert hysterically admitted he’s ‘not doing great’, while late night show hosts pitifully tried their hardest after Donald Trump had his last laugh in the polls.

Colbert delivered a somber, direct-to-camera monologue and seemed defeated by the results.

“If you watch this show regularly, I don’t think you’re doing too well. Me neither,” he said.

He then thanked everyone on his team and tried to make it clear that people who hated Trump were “not the only ones.”

Colbert had the audience applaud Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for running their campaign.

He then called Trump “a monstrous child surrounded by cowards and crooks.”

And earlier this week it was reported that America Ferrera, 40, plans to move across the pond with her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, and their son Sebastian, six, and daughter Lucia, four.

“America is sick of Donald Trump being president again,” an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. “She is devastated that Kamala lost. She thought the country she lived in was better than that.”

They said the move doesn’t mean she’s leaving Hollywood for good as she wants to maintain a “presence” in the U.S. for work, Latinas and women.
