Rosanna Arquette accidentally crashed her car Tuesday morning at the Point Dume Village mall in Malibu.

“We can confirm that Rosanna Arquette was involved in a traffic incident in Malibu,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed in a statement to People.

Captain Mike Rivera of Los Angeles Fire Station 71 has the Malibu times Luckily no one was injured in the collision.

Arquette, 63, was taken to the hospital anyway just to be on the safe side and was apparently “a little confused by what had happened,” Rivera said.

She showed no signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident, the exact cause of which is still “under investigation,” authorities explained to Fox news.

Several emergency responders, such as the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Malibu/Lost Sheriff’s Station, arrived at Point Dume Village after the crash.

“At around 9:45 a vehicle tried to park, it was unknown what exactly happened, but instead of backing up, it went forward and took out three pillars that support the roof,” Rivera said: “Luckily no one was injured, we had two tables nearby but luckily no one was sitting there.’

He added: “Right now we’re just waiting for engineers to come out and deem the building safe and make sure it’s safe.”

Rivera revealed that affected businesses would have to be shut down for a minimum of three to five hours, with his department present “to make sure it doesn’t collapse.”

The Point Dume Village shopping center contains local favorite Lily’s Malibu, a restaurant that has been in business for about a quarter of a century.

On the professional front, Arquette was recently cast opposite Ron Perlman in an upcoming horror thriller called Succubus.
