Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll appeared to have put their troubles behind them as they were spotted together on a family outing in Portugal.

The 35-year-old Northern Irish golfer, who filed for divorce from Erica earlier this year, appeared to be in high spirits as they spent a day strolling to the beach together.

The sunny return comes as Erica was absent from Friday’s Open Championship and Rory blamed his “messy life” for the major problems following their recent marital drama.

Elsewhere, Amanda Balionis, who has remained close to the athlete despite their troubled relationship, is enjoying some time off after the Open at a remote Wyoming ranch.

Rory was also snapped taking a dip in the sea, wearing a pair of red swim trunks, while Erica kept her look casual in jeans, a white shirt and a sun hat.

Meanwhile, Balionis shared photos and videos from her trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a popular tourist spot in the Mountain Time Zone, on Instagram.

Balionis has been in the news a lot in recent months. He is closely linked to McIlroy, who is caught between two fires due to his divorce drama with Stoll.

On May 13, McIlroy filed for divorce from Stoll, citing “irreconcilable differences,” in a move that took the golfing world by surprise.

McIlroy’s team confirmed the news of his split just days before his opening round at this year’s PGA Championship at Valhalla in Kentucky, the course where he last won his last major tournament in 2014.

In the month that McIlroy appeared to be back on the market, romance rumors about Balionis and McIlroy were rife, with the Northern Irish woman even reportedly spotted in her hometown of San Diego.

Balionis herself is reportedly in the process of divorcing former NFL quarterback Bryn Renner. Earlier this year, she was also spotted without her wedding ring and in photos from Wyoming.

On June 11, McIlroy and Stoll reversed their stance and called off their divorce. The couple had since resolved the differences that led to the split.
